Heidrun Becker

Exhibition in the PRINCIAL GOLF RESORT Bad Waldsee

We are particularly pleased to be able to present you another artistic highlight from October 13, 2023: 'Strong Women of the 20s' - the artist is Heidrun Becker - she lives and works as a freelance artist in Bergatreute/Ravensburg district.

She describes her way of working like this:

'My pictures are not created based on thematic templates, but they are also not left to the chance of wild brush gestures. The freedom of art in dealing with materials, the never-determined result always leads me to new paths, new forms, a new design of a picture surface.'

Technology and materials

After a few detours, she has now been able to live her dream of dedicating herself to painting with all her love and enthusiasm for many years. As an autodidact, Ms. Becker studies lifelong. Experimenting and exploring is a wonderful challenge for them. Successes and failures help Heidrun Becker move forward. Sands, marble powder, quartz powder, wax, plaster and of course the wonderful pigments are always in use in her studio. A goal that has never been set allows her to wander in different styles, with contemplation of nature being a great helper for Ms. Becker. Nature leads you into layers and layers, showing color gradations and depths that fascinate and enchant. So every day brings new inspiration.

Becker has been anchored in the Upper Swabian art scene for many years and is, among other things, a three-time participant in the juried exhibition 'Art in the Ravensburg District'. Your team at the Princely Golf Resort is looking forward to spending a wonderful and impressive evening with the artist, with a champagne reception and stimulating conversations.

The Roaring 20s...

Style, Glamour, Avant-garde!

The unbroken magic of the 1920s, the attraction of the short era is still breathtaking today.

Never before has there been such a radical and wild celebration.

Women in particular stood out when it came to cutting off old social habits.

1918 offered them spaces for emancipation and unexpected new freedoms.

They populated cafés, bars, clubs, cabarets and gave the culture and nightlife of the metropolis a new character.

Jazz and Charleston, calf-free dresses, bobbed hairstyles, straight-cut Charleston dresses enriched this era.

Cocktail glasses and cigarettes between their fingers, they informally demonstrated their self-realization.

“It was the 1920s and anything was possible”

Immerse yourself in this fantastic time and experience the glamor of this time for yourself at the opening on October 13, 2023 at 6 p.m.
